Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms supersede all prior versions. Continued use of the Platform after the updated date constitutes acceptance.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RecruitTruth (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Athletes under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Athlete Accounts

Athletes create profiles containing athletic, academic, and personal information. By submitting your profile, you agree to:

  • Provide only truthful, accurate information about your athletic performance, statistics, awards, and academic record.
  • Not exaggerate, fabricate, or misrepresent any data point in your profile.
  • Understand that your RT Score is calculated from your submitted data and may change if data is found to be inaccurate.
  • Accept that profiles may be flagged automatically or by our team if submitted data appears inconsistent or inflated.
  • Grant RecruitTruth a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your profile information, including any athlete biography you submit, to subscribing coaches through the Platform.

Notification Consent. By creating an account, you consent to receive email notifications regarding your profile activity, including notifications when subscribing coaches express recruiting interest, submit a scholarship range, update your recruiting status, or take other recruiting actions through the Platform. You may manage notification preferences by contacting support@recruittruth.com.

Score Integrity. RecruitTruth employs proprietary mechanisms to maintain the integrity of the RT Score. Scores are subject to a floor equal to the athlete's highest previously achieved score when updated through self-reported data changes, except in the case of a documented GPA decrease or an administrator-initiated correction. This policy exists to protect athletes from inadvertent score reductions due to data entry errors while maintaining data accuracy.

Public Commitment Display. When you mark your profile as committed — whether through your own account settings, through a coach's update to your profile, or through an administrator action — you consent to RecruitTruth displaying your first name, last initial, sport, committed school, and committed division publicly on the Platform, including on the homepage and any other public-facing pages of the Platform. This display may occur regardless of whether your commitment was facilitated by, arranged through, or in any way connected to RecruitTruth. See Section 19 for full terms governing public commitment display.

Coach Verification Requests. Athletes with a paid account (Full Report or Film Review + Full Report) may submit the name and email address of their high school or club coach through the Platform to request a verification of their self-reported athletic statistics and measurables (“Coach Verification Request”). By submitting a Coach Verification Request, you agree to the following:

  • You authorize RecruitTruth to send a single automated email to the coach email address you provide on your behalf. This email will include your name, sport, position, high school, and the athletic measurables and statistics you submitted to the Platform, and will ask the coach to confirm or dispute the accuracy of that data.
  • You represent and warrant that the email address you provide belongs to a coach or athletic staff member who has a pre-existing relationship with you, and that contacting this individual is not unsolicited or unwelcome. RecruitTruth is not responsible for delivery of the email to an incorrectly entered address or for the contents of any message sent to an unintended recipient as a result of your error.
  • The verification email sent on your behalf may also include a promotional invitation for the coach to create a free high school or club coach account on the Platform. By submitting a Coach Verification Request, you consent to this promotional content being included in the email sent to your coach.
  • Coach verification is entirely voluntary for the receiving coach. RecruitTruth does not guarantee that any coach will respond to a verification request or that a response, if provided, will be favorable.
  • If your coach completes a verification confirming your stats are accurate, your RT Score may increase by up to five (5) points, and a “Coach Verified” badge will be displayed on your profile, visible to subscribing college coaches through the Platform. Score increases resulting from coach verification are subject to the same integrity protections described in the Score Integrity paragraph above.
  • RecruitTruth limits Coach Verification Requests to one pending request per coach email address at a time. You may submit a new request to a different coach email at any time, subject to Platform limits.
  • RecruitTruth is not liable for any consequence arising from a coach verification response, including any negative assessment of your statistics submitted by a responding coach.

4. Coach Accounts

Coaches and institutions subscribe to access athlete profiles. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Use athlete data solely for legitimate collegiate recruiting purposes.
  • Not share, resell, or distribute athlete profile information outside your institution.
  • Comply with all applicable NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA, and any other governing body recruiting rules, contact periods, and permissible recruiting activities. The Platform does not enforce compliance with governing body rules, and coaches may not use the Platform to circumvent or violate any such rules.
  • Not use the Platform to contact, harass, or communicate with athletes in violation of any governing body's rules or in any manner that is intimidating, deceptive, or coercive.
  • Acknowledge that all Recruiting Actions you initiate through the Platform (including interest signals, scholarship ranges, recruiting status designations, and document uploads) are transmitted in good faith and are accurate to the best of your knowledge.

All Recruiting Actions are subject to the additional provisions set forth in Sections 5 and 6 below.

High School and Club Coach Free Tier. RecruitTruth offers a separate free-tier account for high school and club coaches (“HS/Club Coaches”). HS/Club Coach accounts are distinct from paid collegiate coach subscriptions and are subject to the following additional terms:

  • Roster Limit. Free-tier HS/Club Coach accounts may view the profiles of up to fifteen (15) athletes who have linked to their roster. RecruitTruth reserves the right to adjust this limit at any time with reasonable notice.
  • Read-Only Access. HS/Club Coaches have read-only access to athlete profile data. HS/Club Coach accounts do not have access to Recruiting Actions, including but not limited to the ability to express recruiting interest, submit scholarship ranges, upload documents, or designate recruiting status. These features are available only to paid collegiate coach subscribers.
  • Purpose Restriction. HS/Club Coach accounts may only be used for roster management and athlete development purposes related to the coach's own athletes. HS/Club Coaches may not use the Platform to scout, evaluate, or contact athletes outside their own roster.
  • Team Invite Feature. HS/Club Coaches may invite athletes to join their roster through the Platform's team invite feature, which generates a unique invite link or sends email invitations to athlete email addresses provided by the coach. Athletes who register through an invite link are automatically linked to the inviting coach's roster. By using the invite feature, coaches represent and warrant that they have a pre-existing relationship with each athlete they invite and that the invitation is not unsolicited. RecruitTruth is not responsible for any communications sent to incorrectly entered email addresses.
  • No Collegiate Recruiting. HS/Club Coach accounts may not be used for any collegiate recruiting purpose and are not authorized to facilitate, initiate, or suggest recruiting contact between a collegiate institution and an athlete.
  • Athlete Notes. HS/Club Coaches may write and save private notes about athletes on their roster through the Platform (“Athlete Notes”). By submitting an Athlete Note, the coach represents and warrants that the note is truthful, professional, and does not contain defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful content. Athlete Notes submitted by an HS/Club Coach may be visible to subscribing college coaches who view that athlete's profile through the Platform's coach portal. Coaches acknowledge that Athlete Notes are associated with the coach's name and institution as displayed on their RecruitTruth profile. RecruitTruth does not independently verify the accuracy of Athlete Notes and is not liable for any consequence arising from the content of a coach's note, including any impact on an athlete's recruiting prospects. Athlete Notes may be edited or deleted by the submitting coach at any time. RecruitTruth reserves the right to remove any Athlete Note that violates these Terms.
  • Athlete Notification of Linking. When an athlete links to an HS/Club Coach's roster — whether through an invite link generated by the coach or by entering the coach's email address directly through the athlete's own account — the coach's account will reflect the athlete as a rostered player. RecruitTruth does not send a separate notification email to the HS/Club Coach at the time of linking unless the coach has enabled account notifications. Linking may occur automatically when an athlete completes the platform sign-up process after following an invite link generated by the coach.

5. Coach-to-Athlete Communications and Recruiting Actions

RecruitTruth provides subscribing collegiate coaches the ability to communicate recruiting interest to athletes through the Platform via features including recruiting status designations, interest signals, scholarship range disclosures, and document uploads (collectively, “Recruiting Actions”). Recruiting Actions are available exclusively to paid collegiate coach subscribers. High school and club coach accounts do not have access to Recruiting Actions. By using these features, coaches agree to the following:

(a) Communication Facilitation Only. RecruitTruth acts solely as a technology intermediary that facilitates communication between coaches and athletes. RecruitTruth is not a party to, and expressly disclaims any responsibility for, any recruiting agreement, scholarship commitment, enrollment decision, or other arrangement that may arise from or be communicated through Recruiting Actions on the Platform.

(b) Coach Responsibility. Coaches are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of all information communicated through Recruiting Actions, including but not limited to scholarship ranges and uploaded documents. By initiating a Recruiting Action, the coach or institution represents and warrants that the information communicated is made in good faith and is not materially false, misleading, or in violation of any applicable law or governing body rule.

(c) No Binding Commitments. No Recruiting Action transmitted through the Platform, including any scholarship range disclosure or uploaded document, constitutes a binding offer, letter of intent, National Letter of Intent (NLI), scholarship agreement, or legally enforceable commitment of any kind. Any binding agreement between a coach, institution, and athlete must be executed through the official channels required by the applicable governing body, institution, and applicable law. Athletes and their families are strongly encouraged to consult qualified legal counsel before relying on any Recruiting Action received through the Platform.

(d) Governing Body Compliance. Coaches remain solely responsible for ensuring that all Recruiting Actions comply with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA, and any other applicable governing body. RecruitTruth does not monitor Recruiting Actions for governing body compliance. Any violation of governing body rules through use of the Platform is solely the responsibility of the coach or institution.

(e) Athlete Disclosure. Athletes may receive notification of certain Recruiting Actions through the Platform or via email. The identity of the initiating coach is not automatically disclosed to athletes who have not purchased the Full Report; however, the name of the coach's institution may be disclosed. RecruitTruth does not warrant that such notifications are timely, complete, or error-free.

6. Athlete-Initiated Coach Outreach

RecruitTruth provides paid athletes (those with a Full Report or Film Review + Full Report package) with a platform feature that allows athletes to transmit their RecruitTruth profile via email to college coaches they have independently identified (“Coach Outreach Feature”). The following terms govern use of this feature:

(a) Independent Coach Discovery. RecruitTruth does not provide, suggest, recommend, sell, or furnish any coach contact information, including email addresses, through the Coach Outreach Feature or otherwise. Athletes are solely responsible for independently sourcing, verifying, and selecting any coach email address they choose to use through the Coach Outreach Feature. The Platform functions solely as a technical transmission vehicle for the athlete's existing, independently obtained coach contact.

(b) Transmission Only; No Party to Communications. RecruitTruth acts solely as a technology intermediary that facilitates the transmission of an athlete's profile information to a coach-designated email address. RecruitTruth is not a party to, does not endorse, and expressly disclaims all responsibility for any communication transmitted through the Coach Outreach Feature, including the athlete's personal message and any resulting reply, conversation, or recruiting relationship.

(c) Athlete Responsibility and Governing Body Compliance. Athletes are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Coach Outreach Feature complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to the contact rules, contact period restrictions, and permissible recruiting activity guidelines of the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA, and any other applicable governing body. RecruitTruth does not monitor outreach activity for governing body compliance, and any violation of applicable rules resulting from use of the Coach Outreach Feature is solely the responsibility of the athlete.

(d) Monthly Send Limit. RecruitTruth imposes a monthly limit on the number of coach outreach emails an athlete may transmit through the Platform. This limit exists to maintain platform integrity and prevent misuse. RecruitTruth reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or terminate an athlete's access to the Coach Outreach Feature at any time for any reason, including but not limited to suspected misuse or violation of these Terms.

(e) Prohibited Uses. Athletes may not use the Coach Outreach Feature to: (i) transmit unsolicited commercial messages or spam; (ii) harass, intimidate, or repeatedly contact any coach who has not expressed interest; (iii) misrepresent their identity, credentials, or athletic profile; (iv) circumvent any governing body contact restriction or prohibited recruiting activity rule; or (v) transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or in violation of any applicable law.

(f) Disclaimer of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RECRUITTRUTH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE COACH OUTREACH FEATURE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIABILITY FOR: ANY COMMUNICATION TRANSMITTED BY AN ATHLETE THROUGH THE FEATURE; ANY RESPONSE OR FAILURE TO RESPOND BY A COACH; ANY GOVERNING BODY VIOLATION ARISING FROM AN ATHLETE'S USE OF THE FEATURE; ANY HARM TO AN ATHLETE'S RECRUITING PROSPECTS OR ELIGIBILITY RESULTING FROM USE OF THE FEATURE; OR ANY CLAIM BY A COACH, INSTITUTION, OR GOVERNING BODY ARISING OUT OF AN ATHLETE'S OUTREACH. THE ATHLETE ASSUMES ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH USE OF THE COACH OUTREACH FEATURE.

(g) Reply-To Mechanics. Emails transmitted through the Coach Outreach Feature are sent from a RecruitTruth platform address with the athlete's personal email address set as the reply-to destination. Any reply from a coach is directed to the athlete's personal email and is not received, monitored, stored, or reviewed by RecruitTruth. RecruitTruth bears no responsibility for the content, timing, or delivery of any coach reply.

7. Document Uploads

Subscribing coaches may upload documents — including offer letters, scholarship summaries, and supporting materials — to the Platform for transmission to specific athletes (“Uploaded Documents”). By uploading any document, the coach or institution agrees to the following terms, which govern all Uploaded Documents without exception:

(a) Sole Coach Responsibility. The coach or institution uploading a document bears sole and exclusive responsibility for the content, accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of such document. RecruitTruth does not review, screen, verify, endorse, authenticate, or approve any Uploaded Document prior to or following transmission. The presence of a document on the Platform does not constitute any endorsement, validation, or verification by RecruitTruth.

(b) Disclaimer of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RECRUITTRUTH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO UPLOADED DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIABILITY FOR INACCURATE SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION, MISREPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE TERMS OR AVAILABILITY OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BREACH OF ANY OBLIGATION DESCRIBED IN AN UPLOADED DOCUMENT, OR ANY CLAIM BY AN ATHLETE OR THIRD PARTY ARISING OUT OF RELIANCE ON AN UPLOADED DOCUMENT. RECRUITTRUTH MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO UPLOADED DOCUMENTS.

(c) Informational Use Only. Uploaded Documents are made available through the Platform for informational purposes only. No document uploaded to the Platform should be construed as a legally binding agreement, enforceable offer, commitment, or obligation. Coaches are expressly prohibited from uploading signed or executed National Letters of Intent, binding scholarship agreements, or any document that is intended to or purports to create a legally enforceable obligation between the coach, institution, and athlete through the Platform. Such documents must be executed through official channels outside the Platform.

(d) No Monitoring Obligation. RecruitTruth has no obligation to monitor, review, screen, or retain Uploaded Documents and may remove stored documents at any time without prior notice. RecruitTruth does not monitor Uploaded Documents for accuracy, governing body compliance, or legal sufficiency.

(e) Prohibited Content. Coaches may not upload documents that are illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or that violate any applicable law or third-party intellectual property rights. RecruitTruth reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove any Uploaded Document in its sole discretion without prior notice.

(f) Indemnification by Uploading Coach. By uploading a document to the Platform, the uploading coach or institution agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RecruitTruth and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to such Uploaded Document, including any claim by an athlete, institution, governing body, or third party.

8. Parent and Guardian Use

The Platform provides resources and information for parents and guardians of athlete users. Parents and guardians who access the Platform on behalf of a minor athlete agree to the following:

  • You have obtained the informed consent of your minor child to create, access, or manage an account on their behalf and to submit their personal, athletic, and academic information to the Platform.
  • You are responsible for supervising your minor child's use of the Platform and for ensuring compliance with these Terms on your child's behalf.
  • The athlete bears sole responsibility for the accuracy of profile data submitted, regardless of the extent of parental or guardian involvement in account creation or management.
  • Communications sent to parents or guardians through the Platform regarding their child's profile activity are provided as a courtesy. RecruitTruth does not represent that such communications are comprehensive, complete, or a substitute for the athlete's own account notifications.
  • RecruitTruth does not provide individualized recruiting advice, legal advice, or financial aid counseling to parents, guardians, or athletes. Information provided on the Platform is educational and informational only.

9. User-Generated Content

Athletes may submit a personal biography (“Bio”) for display on their profile to subscribing coaches. By submitting a Bio or any other user-generated content to the Platform, you agree to the following:

  • You represent and warrant that the content is accurate, truthful, and does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • You grant RecruitTruth a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, transmit, store, and reproduce the content within the Platform for the purpose of athlete profile presentation to subscribing coaches for the duration of your account.
  • RecruitTruth does not verify the accuracy of user-generated content and reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate, false, or misleading.
  • You are solely responsible for all user-generated content you submit and for any consequences arising from its submission.

10. RT Score and Evaluations

The RT Score is a proprietary composite evaluation based on athlete-submitted data. It is an informational tool only and does not constitute a guarantee of athletic ability, scholarship eligibility, recruiting interest, or recruiting outcome. RecruitTruth does not guarantee that any athlete will receive scholarship offers, roster spots, or coaching contact as a result of using the Platform. School and program recommendations generated by the Platform are informational in nature and do not constitute admissions guidance, academic counseling, or a guarantee of admission or athletic eligibility at any institution.

11. Payments and Refunds

Certain features require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a report, subscription, or service, you agree to the following:

  • All sales of one-time reports and services (Full Report, Film & Social Review) are final and non-refundable once the report is delivered or access is granted.
  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@recruittruth.com within 30 days of the charge.
  • RecruitTruth reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods but will apply at the next renewal.

12. Data Integrity and Flags

RecruitTruth automatically monitors profiles for patterns inconsistent with normal athletic development. Profiles may be flagged and that flag made visible to subscribing coaches. We reserve the right to flag, suspend, or remove any profile that we determine, in our sole discretion, contains materially false or misleading information. Flagged athletes may contact support@recruittruth.com to dispute a flag. RecruitTruth is not liable for any consequences an athlete experiences as a result of a profile being flagged, including loss of recruiting opportunities.

13. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated athletic, academic, or personal data.
  • Attempt to manipulate your RT Score through artificial, dishonest, or unauthorized means.
  • Upload documents or content that are illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or that violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Platform without written permission.
  • Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications, spam, or to harass any athlete, coach, or other user.
  • Impersonate any person, coach, institution, or governing body.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
  • Use Recruiting Action features for any purpose other than legitimate collegiate recruiting, including to deceive, coerce, or mislead athletes.

14. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, scoring algorithms, matching systems, and design are the proprietary property of RecruitTruth. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission. Athlete-submitted content, including profile data and bios, remains the property of the athlete but is licensed to RecruitTruth for display within the Platform as described herein.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. RECRUITTRUTH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

RECRUITTRUTH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR THE CONTENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR LEGALITY OF ANY DOCUMENTS, COMMUNICATIONS, OR INFORMATION UPLOADED, TRANSMITTED, OR PROVIDED BY COACHES, ATHLETES, OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES THROUGH THE PLATFORM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RECRUITTRUTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF RECRUITING OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, AND EVEN IF RECRUITTRUTH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RecruitTruth and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation, including any governing body rule; (d) any content, data, or documents you submit, upload, or transmit through the Platform; or (e) any dispute between you and any athlete, coach, institution, or governing body arising from your use of the Platform.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue.

18. Social Media Promotion and Scorecard Publication

By creating an account and submitting a profile on the Platform, you grant RecruitTruth a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and share your RecruitTruth scorecard image, commitment card image, and any other profile-derived graphics generated by the Platform (collectively, “Scorecard Content”), which may include your name, sport, position, graduation year, RT Score, division placement, and committed school (if applicable), on RecruitTruth's social media accounts, websites, marketing materials, and promotional channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (“Social Media Promotion”).

(a) Discretionary Selection. RecruitTruth may, in its sole and absolute discretion, select certain athlete Scorecard Content for Social Media Promotion on a random, periodic, or curated basis. Selection for promotion is entirely at RecruitTruth's discretion. RecruitTruth makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any particular athlete's Scorecard Content will be selected for, or published through, Social Media Promotion. The absence of selection does not reflect any judgment regarding an athlete's ability, character, or prospects.

(b) No Guarantee of Exposure or Outcome. Social Media Promotion, if it occurs, is provided as a courtesy and a potential additional avenue of exposure only. RecruitTruth expressly disclaims any guarantee, representation, or warranty that Social Media Promotion will result in increased recruiting interest, coach contact, scholarship offers, or any other recruiting outcome. Athlete participation in the Platform does not entitle any athlete to Social Media Promotion.

(c) No Compensation. RecruitTruth is not obligated to provide, and athletes are not entitled to receive, any monetary compensation, credit, or other consideration in exchange for the use of Scorecard Content in Social Media Promotion.

(d) Accuracy of Content. Scorecard Content published by RecruitTruth reflects profile data as submitted by the athlete. RecruitTruth is not responsible for any inaccuracies in Scorecard Content that arise from athlete-submitted data. Athletes are encouraged to maintain accurate and up-to-date profiles.

(e) Opt-Out. Athletes who do not wish to have their Scorecard Content used for Social Media Promotion may opt out by submitting a written request to support@recruittruth.com. Opt-out requests will be honored for future publications; however, RecruitTruth is not obligated to remove Scorecard Content that has already been published prior to receipt of an opt-out request. Opting out of Social Media Promotion does not affect your account, profile visibility to coaches, or any other Platform features.

(f) Disclaimer of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RECRUITTRUTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGE, OR LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE PUBLICATION, DISTRIBUTION, OR DISPLAY OF SCORECARD CONTENT ON THIRD-PARTY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, ANY COMMENTS, RESPONSES, OR THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT RELATED TO PUBLISHED CONTENT, OR ANY ALLEGED HARM TO AN ATHLETE'S REPUTATION OR RECRUITING PROSPECTS AS A RESULT OF SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION OR THE ABSENCE THEREOF.

19. Public Commitment Display

RecruitTruth displays a public-facing commitment feed (the “Commitment Ticker”) on the Platform's homepage and other public pages. The Commitment Ticker displays the first name, last initial, sport, committed school, and committed division of athletes whose profiles are marked as committed. By using the Platform, you agree to the following terms governing the Commitment Ticker:

(a) Consent to Public Display. When your profile is marked as committed — whether by you through your own account, by a coach authorized to update your profile, or by a RecruitTruth administrator — you expressly consent to RecruitTruth displaying your first name, last initial, sport, committed school, and committed division publicly on the Platform. This consent applies regardless of whether the underlying commitment was facilitated by, arranged through, referred by, or connected to RecruitTruth in any way. The Commitment Ticker is a celebration of athlete achievement and not an endorsement or verification of any commitment by RecruitTruth.

(b) Self-Reported Information; No Verification. Commitment status, committed school, and committed division displayed in the Commitment Ticker are self-reported by athletes or entered by coaches or administrators and are not independently verified by RecruitTruth. RecruitTruth makes no representation that any displayed commitment is accurate, current, final, or binding. Commitments in college athletics are frequently verbal, unofficial, or subject to change; display in the Commitment Ticker does not constitute verification that a commitment is official, has been accepted by the institution, or will result in enrollment or a scholarship.

(c) No Endorsement of Commitment Outcome. Inclusion in the Commitment Ticker does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or verification by RecruitTruth of any athlete's recruiting outcome, scholarship offer, institutional acceptance, or eligibility status. RecruitTruth had no role in and claims no credit for commitments that were not directly facilitated through the Platform's Recruiting Action features.

(d) Limited Information Displayed. The Commitment Ticker displays only an athlete's first name, last initial, sport, committed school, and committed division. Full last names, contact information, email addresses, academic records, and full profile data are not displayed publicly through the Commitment Ticker.

(e) Opt-Out. Athletes who do not wish to have their commitment information displayed in the Commitment Ticker may opt out by: (i) removing their committed status from their profile through their account settings; or (ii) submitting a written opt-out request to support@recruittruth.com. Opt-out requests submitted by email will be processed within five (5) business days. RecruitTruth is not obligated to remove commitment information that was publicly displayed prior to receipt of a valid opt-out request. Opting out of the Commitment Ticker does not affect your profile's visibility to coaches or any other Platform feature.

(f) Coach and Administrator Responsibility. Coaches and administrators who mark an athlete as committed, or who enter committed school and division information on an athlete's behalf, represent and warrant that they have the athlete's authorization to do so and that the information entered is accurate to the best of their knowledge. RecruitTruth is not liable for commitment information entered by coaches or administrators without the athlete's consent or knowledge.

(g) Disclaimer of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RECRUITTRUTH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE COMMITMENT TICKER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIABILITY FOR: INACCURATE, OUTDATED, OR DISPUTED COMMITMENT INFORMATION; DISPLAY OF A COMMITMENT THAT IS LATER WITHDRAWN OR CHANGED; ANY CLAIM BY AN ATHLETE THAT THEIR COMMITMENT WAS DISPLAYED WITHOUT CONSENT; ANY CLAIM BY AN INSTITUTION REGARDING THE DISPLAY OF ITS NAME IN CONNECTION WITH AN ATHLETE'S COMMITMENT; OR ANY HARM TO AN ATHLETE'S RECRUITING PROSPECTS, ELIGIBILITY, OR REPUTATION ARISING FROM DISPLAY IN OR OMISSION FROM THE COMMITMENT TICKER.
